在国庆假日前，英国皇家艺术学院RCA公布了最新的申请时间和申请要求，在这其中单独设置了11月13日这个截止时间，同时要求提交的作品集最多不能超过5页，并且需要提交一个不超过2分钟的创作旅程视频。而正是这一连串的操作引起了很多同学的恐慌，一时间我的微信几乎处于沦陷状态，大家纷纷发来大量的”？？？？“。对此我都是回复还需要等申请系统开放后登录进去看具体每个专业的作品集要求。
果不其然，今天RCA又对申请要求和流程进行了更新，让我们一起来看看这次又做了哪些调整吧。只是申请截止时间的日子临近，希望RCA不要再做一个善变的小孩了，尽快把今年的申请流程和要求完全确定下来，别再让我们这些申请的小可爱担心了。
01.Key dates
Applications open shortly.
Applications close: 13 November 2019
今年第一批申请截止11月13日，这个暂时没有改变，不过到现在为止申请系统还是未能开放，看来RCA的心还是挺大的。
Interview week: 9–13 December 2019
Letters informing you of the outcome of your application: from 6 January 2020
Deadline for accepting your offer: 3 February 2020
We will provide updates on additional application periods going forward. Subject to availability of places, there will be opportunities to apply for RCA programmes in early 2020. However, we encourage you to submit your application by 13 November 2019 to give yourself the best chance of securing a place and to help with securing an RCA or external scholarship.
如果不出意外，今年应该还会有第二批申请，因此如果小伙伴真的没有办法赶上第一批也不要着急，耐心等待学校的申请时间更新。
02.How to submit your application
Once you’ve reviewed and selected the right programme and checked College-wide entry requirements, you can visit our online application portal to begin your application. If you don’t yet have an account, you’ll need to create one.
After you have set up an account, follow these steps:
Stage 1 – Application Form
1.Choose your programme
2.Provide the following information:
- Personal details
- Predicted or achieved grades in previous qualifications and/or evidence of equivalent professional experience
- References
- Evidence of English language proficiency, if English is not your first language
- Context in which qualifications have been achieved or are being completed
- Once you have completed stage 1, you will receive an email with instructions on stage 2.
第一阶段的申请目前从描述来看和之前没有太大的区别，还是正常申请表填写和推荐信提交。
Stage 2 – Application Portfolio
1.Watch the Head of Programme video and read the guidance notes explaining what the Head of Programme would like to see in your portfolio.
根据每个专业的情况去对应准备作品集，不过这句话其实和作品集准备关系不大，大家知道即可。
2.Upload your portfolio following the guidance provided. Depending on the programme, your portfolio may include files of your work and a 300-word written statement about your motivation to study on the programme.
这里取消掉了之前发布的有关5页要求，因此今年应该是没有页数限制要求的，至于还是不是之前的1+6格式需要等申请系统开放后再确认，我们也会随时进行更新。
3.You will also be required to complete the critical challenge – a short video, up to two minutes, of yourself talking to the camera about your personal creative journey.
2分钟的一个视频，这里和之前发布的要求没有太大的变化，如果你现在还在做作品集，可以记录一些过程素材，关于视频的具体教程我们会在下周发布。
