作品集要求：30页，完整的设计过程展现和多方案尝试，对于中前期的调研分析过程最好能够有实际的照片进行展示验证，同时作品集的作品要能够展现出你完整的能力，个人的想法，作品最好与社会实际问题有联系。
课程安排：
Unit One: Critical and Methodological Approaches to Design, consists of a series of projects varying in length from one to six weeks. These introduce a variety of research methods and issues relevant to the discipline which are then directly implemented in the creation/realisation of design work. The unit also includes collaborative projects with students from other courses in the college
Unit Two: Positioning and Professional Practice focuses on a review and positioning of contemporary design territories and engagement with external experts and agencies. The unit typically consists of 1×8 week project, 3×1 week projects and six weeks of studio practice
Unit Three: Self-Directed Design Research requires the student to specify, manage, implement and evaluate a self-directed design project informed by themes and issues identified in Unit Two. This unit consists of 20 weeks self-directed study with tutorial support.
马克笔设计留学点评：CSM的MA Industrial Design专业申请对于中国学生而言有两种途径：线下办事处面试和线上申请，线上申请也会安排在线的skype视频面试，这两种方式没有孰优孰劣，线下办事处的周期会长一些，一般从提交材料到安排面试需要至少1-2个月的时间，但是截至比较晚，到第二年的六月份都还会有面试的机会。CSM在申请时作品集是最重要的，需要体现出非常出色的能力，并且整体的设计理念和设计思路也需要符合CSM的要求。
